Paper Bag Flipbook! (GIVEAWAY!)

Hey Anny,

So I was watching YouTube videos the other day and Rowie made this gorgeous paperbag flipbook. While I was looking at it I thought it was brillliant and such a simple and easy way of making a lovely snail mail. The other thought was "Oooh! I actually have a lot of those things, what a good way to use it up!"

So I looked at the bags, picked out some green ones that I got a while ago from Wibra (I actually use these paper bags for snail mail too! Either to put presents in or just as the envelope!) Then I looked at what I had in my room near me, cause I was really not in the mood to take out things... (I managed to clean up a bit) What I did was I put a bag of papers, stickers and random things I found lying on the desk in a bag and put it next to me on the floor. So I just looked in there and these are some of the things I took out. (The stickers I use are actually in a shoebox!) I also took out some paper doilies and decorative papers and washi tapes (since I got new ones... I should use up the old ones...)

Materials used:
* Paper bags (green, from Wibra)
* DecoTime block cards (for card making, but I use it for other stuff)
* DecoTime stickers (foam stickers, 3-d stickers and glitter foam stickers?)
* DecoTime Butterflies
* Hema letter stickers
* Xenos Decoration paper (laser cut)
* Sostrene Grene pink paper doilies
* Washitape (I am going to guess from Hema)
* Paper (I got last year in Turkey)
* Some stamps you sent me (I know it was from a magazine…)
* VersaMagic ink: 34 Pixie Dust, 37 Sea Breeze, 75 Pink Petunia and 80 Aloe Vera
* Scissors
* Tape roller, foam stickers and glue dots

I started with picking out the DecoTime card book I was going to use. As you know I don't really make cards out of these, I use them as die cuts or the card part as paper... I put the paper bags together and used some washi tape to stick them together. Of course I don't have photos of that... I didn't take them or it didn't work out...

Here are some of the papers inside, like I said I use them as die cuts and sometimes I use parts of it and not all of them...

This bird will be the front page!

I put rolled some tape on it, but when I put it on the paper it looked so empty and lonely.

So I used some of this decoration page, laser cut, from Xenos to make it look slightly nicer. I used some washi as well.

I like to write down a Hello in front of the snail mail! So I used the letter stickers from HEMA! :) I have too many of these, I should use them more often!

The back of the first page gets a little bird too. I used some of these pretty shiney foam/ fabric tape from DecoTime again. Now I don't have the packaging anymore, so I can't actually say what they are... but they feel like fabric and are shiney. Plus they fit witth the washi tape and the theme!

Now on the second paper bag/ page I wanted to use these doilies I got from Sostrene Grene.

I kept it simple and picked out a nice 3D sticker, again from DecoTime! But it looked so empty....

Of course I found a solution... The DecoTime craft butterflies (from my last haul blog)

I decided to use the little foam stickers so they would be flying of the page... If that makes sense!

Do they look like they're flying of the page a bit...

The back of this page was very simple, again some flowers and a quote sticker. I just didn't like the lower silvery part of  it, so I cut that away!

When this page looked a bit empty I found these flowers on a different page, than the big flower I picked out and put them around the page with some foam on the back.

The last page I was getting a bit out of ideas... So what I did was I used a die, put a foam sticker on it and saw the dragonflies on the 3D sticker page. I cut around them, so I coule use them on the page. Since the die had wood, I decided the last page could use some wood and a bird too!

Let me show you the end results!

And of course I thought: How will I fill them up?

I selected some of the papers from the card pack, and rounded the corners. I like the look of it!

Then I looked through the dies I did not use and added some of them in there as well. This is the last of the bags. I worked from back to front to fill them up!

I used some glue dots to close the bag. I need to get some new ones, cause this roll doesn't have much anymore on it.

Then the second and middle bag gets some butterflies, vellum pages and washi tape in it. (I was going to use the washi for something, but ended up not using it... So in here they go! The washi tape are all from Sostrene Grene btw!

For the first one I thought "letter!"
I have these gorgeous thin papers, with a nice feel to it, that i got last year in Istanbul together with a friend. The paper is perfect for long letters, it's very light weight and has a creme colour. Or broken white. Or champagne, whatever you call it when it's not blindingly white.

I decided to stamp some images and the first stamps I saw were the ones you sent for my birthday. Now, I know these came with a craft magazine... but I don't know which one, but it is a huge (A4) page filled with gorgeous stamps.

I decided to use pastel colours, since the dies I used were pastels. I picked out these three VersaMagic DewDrops. Why? Cause I thought it was time to use them again. These three colours (and the white one) are actually the first ones I got from this set!

Now when I wanted to stamp a flower I thought the other colours didn't work well, so I picked a darker pink colour to use together with the lighter one. (The names are on the list of used materials)

Anyhow, these are the pages and stamps I used. I decided on 4 pages, I cut them in half and started with stamping. (I think I actually stamped this page as the last one...)

 Some roses where I used both shades of pink.

This was actually the first page I stamped out. What I love about these dew drops is you can get one stamp and put a bunch of different colours on it!

This is the first page I stamped! The reason I added another colour!

And lastly I added some stickers and a paperclip to it!

Now I decided to do a giveaway with this. I'll post about it on Instagram, but the rules are written here:
